the stage was set
the self-proclaimed hero
the demonised villains
and the innocent foot soldiers.
On a sleepy summer night
the adversaries came calling
The hero managed
a partial undercover escape
the footsoldiers
dispersed as autumn leaves
still waited for divine intervention.
the foolish ministers
wrote an epic for
an opponent.
