Chutzpah #NewNormal #A2Z

Chutzpah

(Yiddish) adopting a ‘don’t-take-no-for-an-answer’ attitude

So it was here to stay

I looked it in the eye

in the quiet of many nights

amidst the lonely panic

in the middle of an anxiety attack

it stood firm

testing all I had!

A year later

it stands firm again

in that dark spot

in my bedroom and my heart

and I stand where I do

surviving every day

not on air

just chutzpah!

  4. I think your attitude will get you through this second surge. Honestly it is really trying everyone's patience and this kind of devil may care is the best way to face it.

  5. Didn't know the Yiddish meaning.
Remembered the dialogue from 'Pink' movie- "No means No".

  6. The poem reminds me of a phrase "not today" - it's quite an intense doggedness. I'll get through because I have to.
