Nadir #NewNormal #A2Z

 Nadir

(Arabic) the worst moment of a particular situation

the Zenith is never fixed

humans always strive for higher, bigger, better

and hence nothing is hated

as hated as the nadir

the lowest, worst and last.

Humanity went through it all

in the spam of a pandemic

the philanthropy

and the apathy

the hope and the grief

again and again

the wave

up and down

life itself.

  1. Yes, both Nadir and Zenith are never fixed and we suprise ourselves at going beyond the peaks in both these cases.

  3. We see new lows and highs ever so often. The pandemic has pushed the limits even further. A poignant poem using a beautiful word.

  5. The Hindi word 'nidar' comes to mind as an antidote to the Arabic 'nadir'.

  6. This poem is so synonymous with life and its constant ups and down phases. The word Nadir has become todays buzzword with the depth of darkness getting deeper and deeper for the entire humanity. Wish, we are able to come back to our senses before its too late.

  8. The word is 'Nadir'. Doesn't it sound like a synonym of the present-day situation? Hopefully, we will bounce back to the better days.
