XO
abbreviation (hugs and kisses)
Remember once upon a time
We would hug people
we would kiss loved ones
we would touch without fear
we would cherish the warmth
now we have a scarcity
and most scarce is
what we took for granted
"Human Touch"

ReplyDeleteIndeed it is a sad consequence of the pandemic - thinking of you and the tragedy all around you - stay safe Pooja xo
ReplyDeleteIt's good to know that I'm not alone in a slightly cheaty X post. LOL.
ReplyDeleteBruce Springsteen has a song Human Touch...we definitely all need it. Sometimes we can feel it in words, but it is not the same as a kiss or a hug. ♥
ReplyDeleteCheers,

ReplyDeleteThe fear has soar so much with the ongoing situation, that even the nearness of closed ones leaves us fearful.
ReplyDeleteGreat use of X! Hugs and Kisses are wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI love letter X posts! Always such variety.
It's hard to believe the blogging challenge is almost over. Then the after survey, reflections, and the road trip sign-up.
Plus, I'm taking part in the Bout of Books read-a-thon in May. So much excitement!
